Bio Summary
Dr. Laura Hanni is from a small town in northern Italy. She grew up milking cows and making cheese on apline pastures and has always had a love for working in the countryside. She completed her Bachelor in Agricultural Sciences degree before she was accepted into the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, Austria. During her senior years, Dr. Hanni focused on bovine and equine medicine. She has a special interest in equine theriogenology and is competing her internship in this discipline.
Besides horses, Dr. Hanni thoroughly enjoys working with cattle. Dr. Hanni wrote her thesis on the genetic diversity of Staphylococci in the milking chain from the teat to the product. She has a special interest in mastitis, sick cow and calf treatment and bovine theriogenology.
