Miller & Associates Fellowship Program

Fellowship Program, New York & Florida, USA. Posted: April 2022

New York & Florida

Miller and Associates was established in 1997, and today is one of the premiere sports medicine practices in the country. We work on horses of all levels from beloved backyard companions to Olympic level athletes. Miller & Associates operates out of four locations on the East coast and we are proud to offer this comprehensive rotating fellowship program.

Our program is intended to provide each fellow with the foundation to confidently enter private practice or pursue further training in a residency program. Fellows will become proficient in diagnostic procedures and protocols and in designing precise treatment plans in a field setting. This is a broad ranging, hands-on experience, with opportunities to pursue and develop specific clinical skills ranging from high level lameness and performance evaluations to geriatric medicine.
There will be extensive training in ambulatory imaging and image interpretation. We routinely use digital radiography and ultrasound, gastroscopy and endoscopy, including a dynamic upper airway endoscope and exercising ecg. Fellows will receive extensive mentoring and supervision from our team of senior practitioners, including a board-certified surgeon, and will spend time in our New York and Florida locations. We expect candidates to begin seeing cases on their own during the fellowship and to participate in the emergency schedule with the other associates.

Candidates must be eligible to practice veterinary medicine in both New York and Florida. The fellowship is a 12 month duration. After successfully completing the fellowship, candidates may be considered for a permanent position with Miller & Associates.
