Small Animal Veterinarian

Granville Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic (dogs & cats only) located in the west end of Edmonton, Alberta. The practice is open Mon-Fri from 8 am - 6 pm, Sat 9 am- 2 pm, closed Sunday and stat holidays. We offer CR digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in house catalyst/lasercyte blood machines and Cornerstone software.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our current staff of three veterinarians, four technicians and three receptionists. Our mission at Granville is to help offer exceptional medical care to our patients - while still maintaining a healthy work/life balance for our staff members. Our staff is a close group of people who all share the mindset that we should enjoy coming into work, and like to have fun while being here.

Skills required would include performing routine surgeries, dental procedures and a variety of medical appointments. Other requirements would include having good communication skills, being a team player, having problem solving skills and a friendly manner when dealing with both clients and other staff members.

At Granville Veterinary Clinic we treat all animals as family members and strive to build relationships with our clients. It is our goal to spend the time required to get to know our clients and work up cases properly - for this reason we allow ample time for new patients and medical appointments.

The position would consist of two to four 8 hour shifts during the week as well as two Saturdays a month. Wage is negotiable pending experience. Start date is immediate. Benefits include CE allowance, scrub allowance, VIN account and a health plan is available.
