Awards and Scholarships
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) has numerous awards, scholarships and bursaries to help fund your graduate education. Funding is made available from a variety of sources, including the Government of Canada, the Government of Saskatchewan and the generosity of our many donors.
NEW | One Health Graduate Student Award
The University of Saskatchewan (USask) One Health Signature Area and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) invite applications for the new One Health Graduate Student Award.
The award celebrates graduate students' research and promotion of One Health, which is defined as collaborative efforts to mitigate risks and maximize benefits at the animal-human-environment interface.
The $1,500 award is open to all current USask graduate students.
Applicants must submit the following:
- two-page CV highlighting relevant activities
- one-page description of how their research and promotion activities are relevant to One Health
Applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised of faculty and peers.
Deadline for applications: apply to onehealthcommittee@ussu.ca by 6 p.m. CST on January 31, 2025.
Results will be announced by March 1, 2025.
