Kelowna Veterinary Hospital is hiring!  Do you want a job that you love, but also want a life that you can live and enjoy?  Leave work at work and enjoy being you.  Are you looking for excellent and experienced mentorship?  New or recent grads are strongly encouraged to apply.  We will coach you through anything from spays/neuters all the way up to major abdominal surgeries, advanced dental techniques, and basic orthopedics.  Dr. Ellen Nicklassen (owner and lead vet) is working towards her Masters in Clinical Counselling and strongly believes in maximizing mental health awareness and wellness, to encourage vets to support each other, to care about ourselves first so we can care for our patients and clients better.

What we offer:

• Privately owned practice operated by WCVM 2013 grads.  We are the oldest and most established vet clinic in Kelowna BC, but we work hard to ensure we offer the most up-to-date care.
• Small animal exclusive practice, some exotics work is available (encouraged but not required.  We will help you learn if you want).
• If you want to learn something new, or if you need a tool, toy, medication, anything that will make you a better vet and benefit your patients and clients, we will make it happen!  An interest in offering specialty care (rehab, nutrition, acupuncture etc.) is encouraged.  We will help you meet your goals and dreams.
• Team of 2 RVTs, receptionists, tech assistants, and kennel assistants.  Our team is actively expanding.
• We provide extensive and experienced mentorship, a senior vet is always in hospital or available by phone, an experienced RVT is always in hospital.
• Appointment hours are 9-5 Monday - Friday, half day Saturday.  Closed all Sundays and Stat holidays.  No evening or on-call; the emergency hospital is 2 blocks away for referrals.
• We offer a flexible schedule, full-time (preferred) or part-time.  Not more than 40 hour work week.  Need an hour (or day) off for yourself?  We've got you covered!
• On-site lab, digital radiology, ultrasound, full surgery and dental suites, digital cytology, surgical and therapeutic lasers.
• Vacation and stat holiday pay.
• License and membership fees, CE, uniforms covered.
• Excellent benefits package (including medical, dental, vision, professional services coverage (mental health, massage therapy, acupuncturist, physiotherapy, etc.)) for you, spouse, and/or dependents.

Job types: Full-time, Part-time (Part-time hours: 16-30 per week).

Salary: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year.
