SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARIAN

Nelson Animal Hospital is a busy 4-6 doctor, 4-6 RVT practice located in the heart of the beautiful West Kootenay region on the shores of Kootenay Lake. We are a full-service hospital in a newly renovated location fully equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, high quality ultrasound and in-house IDEXX blood machines allowing a wide range of diagnostic, medical and surgical options. We utilize Cornerstone and SmartFlow patient management and efficiency software. We are a modern, progressive small animal practice with a very competent, enthusiastic and cheerful team of support staff.

The local area offers an endless variety of outdoor pursuits including mountain biking, hiking, skiing, camping, swimming, sailing and golf to name a few. With our closest referral clinic 4 hours away, we have a varied and interesting case load and lots of opportunity to pursue areas of professional interest.

The position comes with benefits and CE compensation. We are open 7 days per week, weekend shifts are shared on rotation amongst all of our vets.
