Salary: $95,000 salary Full time/permanent

• To any NEW GRAD: we offer an organized mentorship program with a Dr. who is there to support you daily. The mentoring Dr’s primary focus is to help support/guide and teach our new staff and grad’s in their growth.   

Work Term: Permanent

Language: English

Hours: 32-40 hours a week with a call shift every 2 weeks.

Education:

• Degree in veterinary medicine
• Must have successfully completed your NAVLE

Licences/Certificates: CVMA Certification and provincial licensure.

Experience: Ideal but not necessary as our Mentoring program and Dr in charge are there to help support your growth.

Immigration : Birchwood will help support you through the immigration process. There are many steps that both sides will have to complete, but we have a team available to help through this process.

Company Description: Birchwood Veterinary Clinic is Prince George’s newest clinic. Built in August 2021 we are a family owned Dog/Cat practice that values work/life balance, growth, community, education and fostering excellent relationships with our clients/patients.

We operate Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and close for 1 hour at lunch. We are a part of the city’s call group and are on call approximately once every 2 weeks (depending on the number of Clinics/Doctors on the list each year).
