Omer Veterinary Services (OVS) is looking to hire a veterinarian to join our growing team! OVS is a family-owned veterinary practice, located 15 minutes West of Saskatoon on Highway 14, in the beautiful Saskatchewan countryside. With over 40 years of small and large animal experience, Dr. Omer is happy to mentor new graduates. The current caseload is predominantly small animal, but given our rural setting and broad client base, there is opportunity for the right candidate to develop the area of small or mixed animal practice that is of interest to them.

The OVS business model is based on providing comprehensive and affordable care. We strive to build meaningful relationships with our clients, ensuring individualised and appropriate treatment for their pets. Community outreach is also an important part of our practice, emphasized through discounted rates for local rescue groups, and offering accessible veterinary care to rural towns surrounding Saskatoon with our biannual vaccination clinics.

OVS is well stocked to provide excellent patient care with new and regularly updated diagnostic and treatment equipment, as well as a mobile practice vehicle with a Bowie. Our diagnostic equipment includes in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, portable digital radiography, a portable ultrasound, an endoscope, digital dental radiography, and much more. We are also excited to offer rehabilitation modalities such as extracorporeal shockwave therapy and class IV laser therapeutic laser to our clients.
