South Surrey Veterinary Hospital, a well-established, independently owned veterinary hospital is currently seeking a veterinarian to join our team for a fulfilling, fun career. New graduates and experienced veterinarians will both be considered for the position. We are located in the White Rock/Crescent Beach area of South Surrey. 

We are a busy, progressive, multi-doctor practice, with an exceptional work family, offering full service to our clients. We are computerized with full in house IDEXX laboratory, DR digital radiographs, Dental suite with x-ray, ultrasound, but most importantly we offer a supportive and collaborative environment with the goal to helping each other as much as we help our clients and patients.

Our clients are what drive our practice, so the importance of building solid relationships with our pet parents and working with them to achieve their health goals for their pets, is a requirement for any professional we hire. We work as a team of doctors and collaborate on cases while allowing autonomy in practice. Surgery, dentistry and client appointments will all be part of your scheduled days. We have office hours 7 days a week and we work a rotating schedule with our professionals with at least one weekend a month being scheduled. There will also be time off during the week so you can enjoy the surroundings in the lower Mainland.

We are staffed with a full support teams of CSR's, Technicians and VA's to help you through the days. We currently have a very experienced Veterinarian as owner of the practice who enjoys her career as much now as she did when she graduated. She also loves to mentor newer veterinarians and provides ample support as they make their way in the profession. We also have a newer graduate who is constantly bringing fresh ideas to the clinic

Here are some of the benefits you will receive while working at SSVH:

• Paid on an hourly rate, 35-40 hours a week. Range of $60.00-$75.00/hour. This is negotiable and will depend on experience and standard rates in the profession.
