Veterinary Summer Student

Beausejour Animal Hospital is looking for the next great veterinarian in training.  We are looking for students with a focus on companion animal medicine and surgery.  All years of students are welcome to apply.

We provide an extremely positive welcoming atmosphere to start your career.  The practice area provides an extremely diverse case load that consists of diseases you are less likely to be exposed to anywhere else.  Each summer we will often see heartworm, lyme, blastomycosis, anaplasmosis, kidney worms, distemper and sometimes even rabies.  Due to the semi-rural area, we will also expose students to wound management, HBC's, porcupine quills, and all kinds of trauma cases.

Our team takes pride in training students and will spend as much time as possible to advance their skills.  Having a ten-doctor mixed practice provides a wide range of opportunities to be mentored by veterinarians with different skill sets.

We are located just 45 km east of Winnipeg on the way to cottage country.

Resumes will be accepted up until Christmas, and we will conduct interviews before and over the Christmas break.
