Head for the Hills Veterinary Health Services

Calling all Veterinary and Veterinary Technology Students!

Head for the Hills Veterinary Health Services would like to extend an invitation to host enthusiastic students for the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association Summer Student Program.  The new program runs for an 8, 10, or 12 week period commencing early in May, 2024 and extending into August, 2024.  We understand the program's aim is centred on practices with a high percentage of livestock clients, and Head for the Hills will provide you with an excellent practice experience in that regard.  Successful applicants will be provided with exposure to every facet of both large and small animal handling and procedures.  Our dedicated staff, veterinarians, and veterinary technologists are ready and prepared to step into mentoring roles to welcome you to our practice.

Head for the Hills Veterinary Health Services is a mixed practice with locations in Redvers, Kipling and Carlyle.  Our facilities are equipped with an in-house Abaxis laboratory, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, isolation wards and modern handling equipment.

The deadline to apply for this program is November 30, 2023.
