Veterinary Student Summer Position

The Cold Lake Vet Clinic is opening up 1-2 positions for veterinary students that have finished their first, second or third years of vet school. We have a strong history of mentorship of vet students and have employed many of our vet students once they have graduated.

The Cold Lake Vet Clinic is a primarily small animal clinic with all the bells and whistles. We provide high quality medicine, surgery, dentistry, physical rehabilitation and behavioral services to our loyal customers. We provide a limited amount of ambulatory bovine work but this work is relatively less common in the summer months due to its seasonal nature. Vet students are used heavily in exam rooms and during procedures with lots of opportunity to hone your skills in client communication, technical procedures, patient treatments and management of cases - you will not be a glorified animal holder at this clinic! Our team is friendly, supportive and absolutely drama free.
