Selkirk Veterinary Services is seeking to hire a WCVM student for the summer to help with our busy season and covering staff holidays. SVS is a busy, privately owned companion animal practice with a special focus on dentistry. We also see routine wellness, illness/concerns and keep a diverse surgical schedule as well. A summer student position at SVS is an excellent way to improve technical skills (blood draws, catheter placement etc.) as well as surgical and diagnostic skills. You will experience strong mentorship with a solid team who are experienced and excellent teachers. We have a large newly renovated facility with top of the line equipment. Hours and shifts can be flexible to accommodate individual needs. Employment after graduation also a possibility for any interested candidates. Still not convinced?
