Ensure the long-term sustainability and ongoing growth of the college

Objectives:

  1. Develop and pursue new sources of revenue
  2. Improve operational efficiencies and optimize preparedness to take advantage of strategic opportunities and challenges
  3. Embrace collaboration and engagement and enhance our responsiveness to the needs of stakeholders

Goal 2

Strengthen and expand our research mission

Objectives:

  1. Build research capacity by leveraging innovative funding opportunities to grow and maintain a rich educational and physical environment
  2. Grow Indigenous engagement through research that contributes to wellness in Northern and Indigenous communities
  3. Advance primary research areas by establishing, supporting and marketing research priorities
  4. Enhance research collaboration by embracing participation and leadership in multidisciplinary research and team science
  5. Support researchers through mentorship and development at all career stages

Enrich and expand the student experience

Objectives:

  1. Ensure our professional program prepares graduates for engagement in the veterinary profession of the future
  2. Embrace and celebrate diversity and Indigenization
  3. Champion student engagement in the community
  4. Enhance clinical experiences for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students, clinical interns and residents
  5. Promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning
