Research Area(s)
Dana's research focus is the application of dynamic modelling techniques to the problem of antimicrobial use and resistance in agricultural settings.
As part of the Genomic ASSETS project, Dana is modifying and validating an agent-based model that will systematically examine the benefits of various sampling and testing strategies to guide bovine respiratory disease (BRD) treatment and antimicrobial use decisions in feedlot cattle.
