Bio Summary

Natalia grew up in the small town of Harrowsmith, Ontario. Her passion for agriculture science led her to complete an undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Animal Biology. Wanting to pursue a career in large animal production she moved to Saskatchewan to study bovine behaviour and welfare.

Research Area(s)

Determining the efficiency of a slow-released anesthetic at mitigating the pain caused by castration.  Looking at physiological, behavioural, and weight gain indicators to measure the acute and chronic pain experienced by castrated beef calves at two industry relevant ages.
