Dr. MaFer Uribe graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (NAUM), graduating with honours. She then completed a two-and-half year program to become a specialist in small animal medicine and surgery at NAUM.
After finishing this specialty program in 2020, Dr. Uribe spent some time working in private practice in Mexico and then completed a rotating internship in the United States. Her long-term goal is to become a board-certified specialist in internal medicine.
Her main interest in research is clinical research related to hematology, immunology and endocrinology.
