Research Interests
The goal of this study is to gain a better understanding of the direct and indirect interactions between porcine γδ T cells and the Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV). Thereby assess the capability of γδ T cells to provide protective functions and contribute to the question if they play a role in the resolution or pathology of the PRRSV infection.
