Dr. Kara Lascola completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, an internship and residency in large animal internal medicine, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine.

She is an associate professor of equine internal medicine at Auburn University with current research interests in pharmacology and approaches to diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease in horses.

Dr. Lascola is an active member of the Veterinary Comparative Respiratory Society and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM).
