Dr. Eric Walther is a a board-certified specialist in radiation oncology who is a member of the clinical team based at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre.
Dr. Walther graduated from the Oklahoma State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. His extensive training includes a radiation oncology internship at Texas A&M University, followed by a combined Master of Science-radiation oncology residency at the WCVM.
He went on to complete a two-year clinical residency at Arizona Veterinary Oncology in Gilbert, Ariz. Before joining the VMC in late 2025, Dr. Walther practised as a veterinary radiation oncologist at Arizona Veterinary Oncology for more than a year.
As a member of the VMC's clinical team, Dr. Walther's time is focused on clinical cases — allowing the VMC to further maximize the availability of its radiation oncology services.
