Confocal microscopy enables examination of sub-cellular structures, function and cellular or organism architecture with high optical resolution.

The specialized equipment (Leica TCS SP5) also provides users with the ability to reconstruct three-dimensional images using various application software.

  • A broad range of fluorescent excitation lasers (405, 458, 476, 488, 514, 543, and 633 nm excitation lasers) 
  • Spectral imaging and linier unmixing of overlapping signals 
  • Heated stage for live cell imaging
