Companion animal health
A number of WCVM researchers from a wide variety of specialized disciplines are involved in companion animal research. Their work includes spontaneous and inherited animal diseases as well as animal models to investigate aspects of pathobiology or response to treatment. WCVM faculty collaborate broadly across campus including the colleges of medicine, pharmacy, engineering and agriculture.
Many of the pet health projects are supported by the WCVM's Companion Animal Health Fund (CAHF) that was created in 1978. For more information, visit the CAHF web site.
