Western College of Veterinary Medicine

Overview

Are you graduating veterinary school and looking for an emergency hospital where you'll be supported, challenged, and mentored—not expected to know everything on day one?

At Animal Emergency Center, we believe the best emergency veterinarians are developed through great mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on experience. Whether you're an experienced ER doctor or a new graduate eager to learn, you'll join a collaborative team that is committed to helping you grow into the veterinarian you aspire to become.

Our privately owned practice is led by an owner who genuinely invests in her team, creating a culture where questions are encouraged, mentorship is part of everyday practice, and learning never stops. Many of our veterinarians and support staff have been with the practice for more than 10 years.

Why New Graduates Thrive Here

As a new graduate, you'll never be expected to navigate emergency medicine alone. You'll work alongside experienced emergency veterinarians who enjoy teaching and helping newer doctors build confidence with medical cases, surgery, diagnostics, and client communication.

Our goal is to provide the guidance and support you need while gradually increasing your independence as your skills and confidence grow.

If you're excited about emergency medicine but want a place where you'll continue learning every day, we'd love to meet you.
