ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN POSITION

Dawson Creek Veterinary Clinic is looking for a small or mixed animal veterinarian to join our team.

We are a mixed animal practice with 9 veterinarians and a wonderful team of skilled and caring techs and support staff and a great practice culture.

Our practice is growing and we have a newly completed large animal facility. The new large animal facility has a bovine ward with a hydraulic tip, two equine exam areas, an equine surgery area with padded induction/recovery stall, isolation room and several hospitalization stalls. The large animal part of the practice is primarily cow/calf and equine. 

The small animal aspect of the practice is a beautiful facility built 10 years ago. We have a great mix of surgery (including orthopedics), dentistry, medicine, emergency and preventative care. Lots of great equipment including a video endoscope, equine gastroscope, digital xrays, high end small animal and equine ultrasound machines and fully equipped lab area. 

Our practice values good work life balance, honesty, teamwork, positivity and reliability. 

With many experienced veterinarians and support staff, we have a strong mentorship program at our clinic. We were awarded the UCVM clinic of the year for teaching students last year.  

This is a privately owned clinic with 2 of the owners having been here for over 20 years. There are partnership opportunities at the practice.

We also have an onsite daycare for employee children.
