Large Animal Associate Veterinarian

Navan Veterinary Services is seeking an experienced, full-time, associate veterinarian to join our dynamic large animal practice in beautiful Eastern Ontario. Bilingual is an asset but not required. New grads are also encouraged to apply.

NVS enjoys a unique and collaborative relationship with neighbouring practices to offer routine on-farm and emergency services to all farm animal species. Our practice is approximately 85/15 dairy/ equine with some beef and small ruminants. Services provided include:

• Dairy production/herd management consultation
• Ultrasonography reproduction management, fetal sexing
• Udder health, forage analysis and nutrition consultation
• In-house laboratory testing and milk culturing
• Milking equipment evaluation
• Hoof disease and lameness management
• Barn design and ventilation consultation
• Radiology on-farm, digital x-rays for immediate results
• Select soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures performed on-farm

Our associated practice offers:

• In-house LA surgery for patients requiring more intensive care
• Bull breeding soundness evaluation
• Calf wellness program
• Equine preventive care, lameness, dentistry, general medicine, reproduction and surgery to a wide variety of equestrian disciplines
• Sound radiology system, GE & Easi Scan digital ultrasound systems, portable endoscopy with 3m and 1.1m scopes

Qualifying veterinarians offer services in the Pontiac region of Quebec - 24 hour emergency service.
