This largely agricultural community has plenty of recreational facilities including skating rink, curling rink, bowling alley, swimming pool and recreational hall. There are walking and cross country ski trails and a beautiful golf course. It is on Route 66, 100 miles of groomed toboggan trails. Kelvington is within a half hour from a provincial park, 3 recreational lakes, ATV trails, fishing and hunting. There is a livestock auction market and an RCMP station.
