Equine Summer Student Position

Preferred Candidate: Having completed 1st or 2nd year of DVM program with a strong equine background and general interest in equine sports medicine.

Position: Assisting the doctors at TD Equine Veterinary Group in Calgary with their general equine practice with emphasis on sports medicine and also involving the summer tournament series at Spruce Meadows. The student will be exposed to all aspects of equine sports medicine including lameness, diagnostics, emergency medicine, FEI competitions and some breeding.

While some after hours and weekends may be required, we strive for a work life balance. We encourage our summer students to explore Calgary and the surrounding area.
