Summer Student

South Hill Animal Clinic has been under new ownership since 2018 and has a Summer Student position open for the 2025 season. The position is full-time with flexible starting and ending dates. We are a progressive clinic equipped with digital x-ray including dental x-ray, ultrasound, in-house Heska lab, Zoetis Imagyst, CardioPet ECG, Holter monitor, and use Cornerstone software. We are a small animal only clinic with currently only one veterinarian, therefore you will get a lot of one-on-one guidance from both our veterinarian and RVT’s.

Prince Albert has so much to offer, especially during the summer months. The city itself has everything you need for shopping and entertainment, and if there is something you’re missing Saskatoon is just over an hour away for anything else. If you love the outdoors, then this is the place for you! A short drive out of the city and you will be at one of the many lakes or at the Prince Albert National Park. We are only open Monday to Friday and do not currently take after-hour emergencies, so your evenings and weekends are completely yours!

Our summer student position is open to anyone interested in veterinary medicine, but priority will be given to individuals currently in vet school. We are here to support you and give you as much hands-on experience possible during your time with us.
