Laura is from Medicine Hat, Alberta. After graduating high school she attended Medicine Hat College for two years before transferring to the University of Calgary to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Laura completed the DVM program at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Callaghan has a lifelong passion for horses and began a one-year internship with the Equine Field Service team in May 2024.
